actually the skydome wouldn't be visible even if it was in the picture, its too far off to the left.

note the absence of the TD buildings.

How old do you figure it is?

The Toronto-Dominion Centre opened officially in 1967, although it took about 3 years to build, so that picture is from at /least/ 1964.

But the CN tower is there and it was built in the mid 70's.

That's right. CN tower was opened in 1976 and if I remember correctly, the black towers are the TD Centre. A wild guess, late '70s or very early '80s.

The two black towers are of the 'Toronto-Dominion Center'; respectively the 'Toronto Dominion Bank Tower' completed in 1967 (taller) and the 'Royal Trust Tower' completed in 1969.

The tall white structure is 'First Canadian Place' completed in 1976. Note however the stark white construction shroud surrounding the building indicating on-going work.

The 'CN Tower' appears to be completed externally, but interior work may still have been ongoing. The 'CN Tower' was completed in 1976.

Given all of these facts I would consider this picture to have been taken in either 1975, or early 1976.

One more thing, if the SkyDome had been built at this time it would have appeared in the picture, due to the perspective from the port-lands. But the SkyDome was not completed until 1989.

Ok, I missed the 'Royal Bank Plaza' completed in 1979. Its almost 2am and I have been up since 5am. So I will leave it at a educated guess of the photo being taken in 1979 or 1980.

Also notice the fact that the port here was still alive. They went on to demolish so many warehouses and silos.
