damn. i would have loved to have seen it in all its glory. i was very dismayed to find out about it and get there too late. i just tried to make the most of it and get what i could when i could.

I found this spot but couldn't check it out - went back a month later than they had torn it down.

I used to be a firefighter in that neighbourhood, and have been through every inch of it when it was still active. The place was amazing. I hated to see it go, but the entire neighbourhood is Mexican now, and they need stores, I guess, lol. We'll be exploring the abandoned stores within a couple of years!
