  I notice nothing around the stadium...so the Currie Gym (dept of athletics) was not built yet ..we see the empty space where it stands now !Interresting that the stadium came first !

  it is strange how the stadium always seems like it was fitted to the hospital not the other way around. They sure knew how to squeeze buildings in together in those days.

  perhaps there was a "playing fields of Eton" approach at McGill which brought the stadium in first? Of course it also means that they were getting fairly big crowds for outdoor sports at the time. Interesting that field to the right of the stadium was already leveled as well (very early tam tams? :P)

  Too bad they just didnt make it a full bowl when they had the chance. There still arent too many stadiums in the world in a location like that!
