  My neighbourhood since 89 ! Beautiful but imagine the awfull smell...slaughter houses,soaking skins for months in open air and all the waste down in the Glen brook (ruisseau Glen,filled and covered by De Courcelle street)!!!!!!There are still little houses left on Bourassa street .

wow that s only 19 years after Daguerre got the patent that called him the inventor of photography - technolgy didnt travel very fast in those days so all the more remarkable!
