  you know, in the first two pics, I was like "HTF do they know its a Chevy?" I was hoping for a stamping plate pic. Thanks. Unusual to see a derelict with the lower half of the engine left in it.

  Maybe the short block was why it was left there. Spun bearing, scored cylinder... who knows. Looks like people have salvaged anything worth salvaging.
