Are you familiar with the location "Lost Lake"? In the 20's, when engineers were building US 220, they had a conflict. Build a bridge, or build around this natural lake on top of the mountain between Ringdale and Laporte... So of course, they blew up the dam, and drained the lake. Route 220 goes right through it. You have found one of it's retaining walls and a watering trough for horses.

Yeah its not near the lost lake.. ie throndale/ringdale (also cool area). I'm told its a foundation for a platform where coal could be loaded from one wagon to aother.
