I worked in the outlet store and eventually worked in the warehouse in Rockwood. Had a lot of fun working with John, Steve, Juanita, Barbara, George and John and Martha. This goes back to 1979. Really had fun and worked very fun

My last comment should have finished with "worked very hard" Anyway, We used to unload trucks that were totally filled with mens suits. It was very interesting how they were loaded. They were hung on large ropes. Each rope had a large knot every couple feet and there would be anywhere from three to six mens suits hung on each knot. It would take 5 to 6 people sometimes 4 or more hours to unload. People would come from all over the country to shop there. We carried beautiful Palm Beach Suits that were considered irregulars or "seconds" Some saturdays we had as many as 1000 people visit the store. I was living with my grandmother at the time who lived in Knoxville. The entire upstairs was filled with women sewing. It was a great time in my life and met alot of people. I had moved from Detroit to go to school at UT. That only lasted one semester before I went to work at the mill outlet.
