Yeah, that sickens me. The government says there's not enough hospitals, wait times are way up and then these assholes are letting these facilities rot. It would be a great idea to invest the cash into renovating these abandoned hospitals but what do I know? I'm just a taxpayer.

When it comes to hospitals, modern pre-fab is actually best. Designing a hospital from scratch from the ground up and giving it a limited service life are actually good things.
Housing?? Totally the opposite is true.

well here in montreal in the early 90s they closed a whack of hospitals, mostly smaller ones, strange thing is the smaller hospitals were more modern in many respects and are still sitting maintained and all. THe lachine general hospital has been used for filming on many occaisions, it was closed 10 years ago and remains empty, heated, and lit

In my first appartment there was an hospital bed in very good condition that was left in..we called all the hospitals clinics,centers...nobody wanted it..!
