I want to thank each person who took photos of this Big Old Beauty - I drove back n forth to TO for 30 years and used get off at Courtice to baseline just to look at this house and the other Bigger Old Beauty on the south side. Tried to get in but the cretins in that bus. across the rd. kept coming out their door to check me out so I stayed outside - never thot to get a camera *smack forehead* - I heard that this had once been a hotel and visitors came by train, when the are was a tourist attraction - the fancy trim can't be touched by other homes in the area - it was FANTASTIC - was devastated when I drove by and found it destroyed. The Heritage Assoc. should be pissed on and then shot for not saving both of those buildings. Again, great pics. Looks like there were three staircases (not counting basement).
