my cousin John lives in Rochester and claims that he could tell which particular line a Genesee came from (he drank that much of it). Personally, it always gave me the shits.

It's called the Genny screamers (a variant on the "Matt's splats"). I think Old mil had a next day bathroom trip named for it too but I can't recall what it was.

Boonville and the Moriah area are pretty much cut from the same mold; those expressions get around pretty quickly. The questtion IS; what about the Matts splats.

Green boxes were cream ale, blue light beer and red regular. Genny has been purchased by a new company called "High Falls Brewery", located on the opposite side of the gorge from Upton. Loads of contraband liquor was stashed in this place during prohibition but these boxes are likely late 70's.
