Holley carbs were once the gold standard of the muscle car universe... personally, i think they are a pain in the ass. Every fucking time you turn around you have to rejet them, or adjust them... I much prefer an Edelbrock carb if I had to be carburated...
Fuel injection is the shit, but when you're an ignorant redneck retard that can't spell fuel injection, well you out of luck and go with the 4-barrel.

I really liked my Predator carb that I had on my Bronco. One barrel 2 1/2 square. Variable venturii, 390 to 930 cfm depending on engine demands. It was a bugger to set up at first, but that thing rocked once dialed in.

now, my 2.3L in Pinto had a Holley 550cfm 2bbl on it and that was bulletproof. I never had to screw around with it, but the 650cfm on the 302 in my Bronco was a douche.
