Description
Watson opened up the roof hatch. The building groaned at some point while he was walking along and the guys only like 130 lbs.

Man you're daring dude. I didn't even go any higher than the first set of stairs, insane vertigo.

Awesome. I plan on climbing to the roof the next time I go.

Is it really that sketchy?

The rafters were swaying when I stood on them. They creaked with every step. I don't trust them.

If they lead to my death, you'll have the satisfaction of knowing that you were right, and they're not to be trusted.

You said you were 210, Glass did it with a tripod/camera.. so I'm going to guess his weight is around 180-190.

I'm 175.. I think I should be fine.

He didnt have his tri-pod up there.

Not something I'd do without a harness

Same here Yehoshua. However, I don't know if I would trust the roof trusses to carry my 275 pounds when there's nothing else between me and a lon-n-n-g drop!

If a 210, and 190 could do it at the same time, it should be fine.

And for the record, standing at the bottom, 60 feet below with Particle Man, I didn't hear the building moaning. :P

FYI, the structural integrity is fine. Just watch your step and don't look down.
Posted by Jef 3/1/2007 8:54 PM | remove
Why have you tested it yourself?
but he is right it is fine, just don't look down.
Posted by Bryan 3/28/2007 12:49 AM | remove
I did it alone, at night. I looked down. I love heights.
Posted by Jef 3/28/2007 7:46 AM | remove
  I looked down too.

Baaaa, the place is strong as rocks. You can run across them. Looking down is the reason to go up there though.
