yeah, it was playing around, NT somtimes adressed a zip disk as an internal hard drive, so yeah, imaginie having your pagefile connected on your paralel port

  it must have been slow...

lol, last year I was playing around with page files on NT also. I cant say I like NT too much, mainly because of being used to the luxury of automated XP and vista. My main thought... beloved included drivers!

yes but when you had 4 choices, win 3.11, win 95 and win NT4. NT4 was an amazing advance. Also its ability to truly connect to a domain. Win 95 and 98 held on to local security and used a client to get access to the server, NT was the first that a domain controller could control all aspects of local security. it was what led to active directory (a huge advance)

I have a iomega zip 250 parallel right next to me right now, not connected though. 2 zip 100 disks and 2 zip 250 disks also. The iomega zip 250 parallel drive does not work on vista, XP is the last OS suported.

We still have a Iomega Jaz 2GB SCSI drive on a shelf somewhere at work. We used it to store Ghost images to backup PCs not connected to the network with a SCSI / parallel converter. It was so slow!!!
