Considering the trams were retired in 1959, if that pic was taken in 1960, that means the City was pretty darn quick at repaving Ste-Catherine....A lot faster than today!

Hah, the other day I spotted a car driving down St. Catherine pulling a big spinning billboard behind it, and thought to myself "what's this world coming to?" I guess the concept isn't so new after all..

i know, some mobile advertising is cool i find though, the 1996 levis silvertab campagne was great, an entire metro painted silver! and they rented all the vacant simpson stores display windows and had everyday objects painted silver
