This isn't exactly a real switching yard, per se, it's a historical group with an interest in trains. They used to run tour trains from this town to another town about 10 miles down. The train still runs, just not to this town, there is a section of damaged track they have to repair first. I talked to a guy from the group who was there when Wagnasty and I made the trip.
