The water was completely frozen and we got a chance to explore the shelter. It was roughly shaped like the letter L. After approximately 20 meters the tunnel turned 90 degrees right, continued some 100 meters and ended to a door, either locked or nailed shut, on the yard of a residental building. The shelter has apparently been used as a storage, and there were large piles of polystyrene packaging material. The water that flooded the first half of the tunnel had carried them everywhere, and they made an unpleasant sound every time you stepped on them.
