Ive seen dog catcher trucks more with more comfort, no A/C in the back just some vents and plastic benches (he stopped and we talked, actually he talked and I just answered lots of questions)

i had one of these tailgating me.. unfortunately it resulted in the death of a huge iguana :( (ie: i was watching the rearview and looked up when sandra screamed and i nailed the not-quite-fast-enough lizard..)

I was nearly run over by one in Pinto Canyon but it was 2 officers in a SUV (Yukon or Tahoe) runnin uphill about 60mph I was crawling up the same hill about 25mph and I guess they got tired of waiting so they passed me door handle to door handle

here on the other border, I won't give these bastards the time of day. They used to set up this gestapo block at milemarker 100 on Interstate 87. If you live in northern NY or Vermont, you'll know why. Otherwise, it's probably a mystery.

i have found the best way to deal with them at checkpoints is to answer the "us citizen" question. if they ask anything else, i usually say, i will be more than happy to cooperate with you, if you will fill out this form for me, and hand them the public servant's questionnaire. that form has gotten me through checkpoints and out of tickets faster than anything else ;)

I "know" these guys; very time that I am on the Old River Road I get stopped. They alway ask me what I am doing, and I reply, see the camera, I am taking pictures.
