Open, straight stairs are the best. This stairwell would have been alright. Once you got past the turn three steps from the bottom, you're all set. It's certainly wider than average.

But the average sofa these days are 7'-8'x2'x2.5'. Not exactly easy moving, lol.

It's in pretty good condition, but you can only get in when they have an open house (as far as I know). They do that every year in the autumn.

These houses are normally locked tight and are maintained by either the island keeper or the Government of NS.
