Possibly a gas fire with rocks to make it look like a coal fire?

i had a fireplace insert like that, mine has a lightbulb in the bottom with a metal 'pinwheel' over it, that spun when the heat rose. The rocks acted as 'fire'. the curved metal in the back would force the heat into the room from the metal coils in the back. they are Amazing space heaters. and worth Alot of cash.
