Fun fact about this thing: it's no longer really in service. It kept getting blocked with wood debris (as seen), so opposed to hauling gear our to clear it out every few months, they rerouted Morningside Creek to go around this structure. It goes into a small pipe up top, and then reemerges behind this photo.

Thanks for the "fun fact". That means this "river" is possibly crossable in the summer too. But there was still some evidence of water flow, even if it was frozen.

Yes thanks for the fun fact!. The built a culvert around it, and oldtimer is correct too there is some water flow out of this structure. Hey does anyone now the name of this concrete structure?
