5 / 18   Above Bevalac

Description
Up the hill from the Bevalac. The round building houses the Bevalac synchrotron. The shorter rectangular building to the right houses generators. The high building above the Bevalac is the External Proton Beam Hall that housed experiments that utilized the particle beam exiting the Bevalac (this building was demolished in 2004). The smaller white building to the right of the Beam Hall is part of Building 64, once home to a 50MeV LINAC (linear accelerator) used to provide an initial particle beam for acceleration.

It must be the original Area 51, they parked a UFO right in the middle of the building.
