Throughout the whole Superhospital debate I have been curious to find out where the commuter trains will park between rush hours if the glen yards are to be turned into a hospital... The sortin yards?

I read somewhere that the yard is to be moved "past Montreal West", which I guess means Sortin. I went by it the other day and it looks well suited to the task (lotsa spare tracks, and a few buildings that could be used as a maintenance base).

is that the little yard near the meadobrooke golf course at the entrance to cote st luc?

Yup. Just south of the main track, and west of the line that runs down your way. It's not the Cote-St-Luc yard, but it is in Cote-St-Luc. Confusing, eh.

is it the only train left over there during the night? could be the answer... to not have graffiti on it.

that makes sense, the 2 delson trains are left in the delson industrial park, the rigaud train stays in rigaud, the rest of the waste island trains stay in the new vaudreuil yard

If they park at the Sortin yard that's gonna make for some interesting traffic through montreal west... Also, I have a feeling people are going to be bothered by trains passing through the stations and not stopping.

i know, people in cote ste luc also have been on cps ass for years about noise in the cote st luc yard, now that yard has been there for years, cote st luc is only about 50 years old as it is now so people YOU KNEW there was a railyard there. by the way did a little searching on the former stcum now amt gp9's they are former CN gp9's. the big noticing point is the CP gp9s had thier bells on the front of the cab the cn ones on the running board.
