Terrific shots - thanks for the tour. Looks like a fascinating place (reminds me a little of the Breslau Hotel near K/W area).

This is one of those places that I'll bet was just awesome and killer swanky in it's day. I always hate seeing places like this so lost and forlorn.. but then, that's UE for ya.

I almost see this shot as a location lost in time. And my mind adds some mystery to the surrounding bushes and trees behind it. Almost like a forgotten lonely location. I'm just weird.

I wonder that too. Maybe a bankruptcy or something? Seems like they just up and left it and didn't really bother taking much out other than tables and chairs. Wasn't there quite a bit of kitchen equipment still in there?

I soent a lot of time here when I was young. My dad once planned to renovate the restaurant in the late 80's. These pictures show ten times the damage there was when I was there as a kid. It really breaks my heart. I will see what information I can dig up - we still have a few "artifacts".

The Inn closed likely in early 1979. The There was issues between the owner of the building and the owner of the restaurant. The restarant owner got in trouble for running gambling out of the hotel in late '78 and the Inn closed soon after.

Unfortunately, this place is completely gone now. Lincolnway has been straightened and widened and there is no evidence anymore that LH Inn ever existed. I was indeed a swanky place in its day. It was formal dining.
