I can't really describe the smell. You can see it a bit in this shot towards the top of that gravel. There was a warning sign posted nearby about chlorine storage, but I doubt that's what it was. If it was infact chlorene at a strength strong enough to visibly see, the Ministry of Environment would LOVE to know, as concentrations that strong could easily kill or at least put you out of commission for quite awhile.
