Big Ass Fans, and the entrance to where the movies were actually shown. Rumor has it those fans were used to dry carpet from a leaking roof. There were about eight or nine of those fans hanging out inside the building.

This theater was the prototypical movie theater complete with sticky floors from the mystery substance and popcorn all over the floor. That's what happens once they convert to dollar shows I guess. The dollar show down Hwy 80 at Belt Line has suffered the same fate, hopefully, it will close in the not too distant future.

Hey, i was at that movie theatre last Sat. It wasn't too bad. Maybe because i was at the 12:30 show and it had been cleaned the night before.

Fans must have arrived after 1996... But there were several leaks... Even helped seal some of them.

This was the hallway to theaters 1 - 4. And the room to the right with the fan hanging in it was the gameroom... The theater on Hwy 80 and Beltline was opened, new, as dollar theater in 1996 or 97. There is another in Irving on US 183 and Esthers which I believe was opened first. Not sure if there are others in the chain.
