Wonder if they ever had a "full house"?

If you read the manual for certian mortuary fridges such as these you will see a few references to 'dummy bodies'. A 'dummy body' is a block of wet wood put in place of a corpse that reduces the running cost of the chiller.
Just in the same way that your home freezer costs less to run when it's full. A big chiller like this has a constant duty cycle, so having it empty would be fairly costly.

It's normally printed on plastic and stored in or around the unit itself.
