  that compressor is for the garage cbc built with taxpayers money up here to service thier trucks, they forgot they couldnt drive up here though, so the full time mechanic is bored

  i would have expected a bigger compressor for somthing like that. we have a compressor like that for our 200 pair cable here at work between sites

  No it isnt. That compressor IIRC is for a local dry sprinkler system (keeps the fire standpipes pressurized without the use of water. If a head pops, and the smoke or heat detectors do not detect heat, then only air comes out, instead of hundreds of gallons of water). There was also a compressor to compress nitrogen into the solid coaxial lines, and a compressor for power tools. There was also IIRC a compressor to compress a sealed cable tube which went all the way down the tower. I believe that used some form of inter gas. That wasn't on that level tho.
