A Sunday Drive

Flashback some years to when Nightbird was a younger lass:

I went camping in Nashville, Brown County, Indiana with my then boyfriend and his family. He says there is an empty house on the other side of the campground, did I want to walk over and check it out? I say sure, so we walk over and look and an old empty two-story house.

Present day:

So its Sunday and I am thinking of places that I can explore, when I remember the old house in Nashville that I went to so long ago. I know how to get there, but I can't remeber any details about the house or even what condition it was in when I was there. So I take a nice drive south to Nashville, IN. It takes me longer to get there because I decided to take a senic route rather than the highway, in hopes of coming across another place I can explore. I also inadvertently made a wrong turn. I get to Nashville and locate the house. I was a bit disapointed. As you can see from the pictures, not much is left of it, and I couldn't even go in due to the extreme decay of the floor. Still, I was nice to revisit the house after many years. After my short stay, I started to head back up to Indianapolis, via another route, still hoping to find something of interest. Hurray! I found the Bean Blossom house. I had a much better exploration at that location, and returned home satisfied that I had accomplished my goal.

by the way, southern Indiana is very pretty.
