Yeah, I go to the school right next to the what used to be the old St. Joseph Hospital. But now its in ruins, but its fall lead to the creation of the new hospital just next door. But to travel back, way back to before it was actually demolished. After school I would sometimes stay after to work in the automotive classroom for a few hours. Afterwards I would catch the next bus home. Yep #7 St. Joseph would lead me downtown and then I'd get on #23 Paisley/Imperial. But aside from that. One day I stayed late with a friend at the auto class. We must've come out a little to late. As we stepped out of the school, the bus just had driven away. Nice. So here we are waiting in the cold for the next bus to come, in another half-hour. We decided that it was too cold standing out in the open so we headed towards the bus stop right in front of the old hospital. At least this stop had its own glass box, capable of breaking cold winds. We waited. Behind us was the hospital. Curiousity struck, and we chose to look inside while we wait. We climed the fence to the other side. Great, the front door is locked. We climbed the roof and got in. Ok so we did not have any real equipment on us. We had no safety shoes, no flashlight, and I forgot my lockpicking set at home. The most we had were dress shoes(Lourdes is a uniform school :( ), and for light, well luckily my cell phone screen had enough illumination to light up about 1.5 metres ahead. We could not see much with the phone so we thought about leaving for the day and coming back with real equipment. We managed to navigate ourselves to the front exit. I unlocked the doors and we made it back out to the blistering cold.(not saying that is wasn't cold inside the hospital.) We missed our bus yet again. Two missed stops in one day? I thought I had enough. It started to get windy, and the temperature dropped slightly so we went back in to the hospital. This time it was a little freaky. The sound of the wind drafting through the broken windows sounded like voices. Heh, I just played games on my cell phone, not really worrying too much about the structural integrity of the building. It looked a little torn up? Maybe, I thought to myself, maybe they're tearing this place apart because of its age. Well obviously, theres a fence around it and it also is condemned. We heard the bus come around. We booked it outta the building and jumped the fence. When we got in the bus, the driver was giving us really weird looks. Maybe he saw us goofing around? Whatever, I don't care. I had fun, and I would do it again sometime.
