I took a few shots of the exterior last night around midnight and decided to check out some possible entry points in the daylight. I had some time today so I thought I'd head downtown to see how best to get in to this place. It was about 10:30 AM on a work day so I parked in the one hour lot across the street and headed over to take some exterior shots. People were milling around the parking lot, as were two bicycle security guards from the lofts behind the place. I took several exterior shots and nonchelantly checked some possible places of enter. When I found a good spot, I made a quick entry and headed in. It's an easy entry to the first floor but what I wanted was to find access to the sub basement. Someone had forced a wooden cover to the stairs so I headed down. At the bottom, I encountered a sliding door which wouldn't budge. I checked further and found one of those conveyor type single man continuous lifts and will climb that down at a later date. I also found an open freight elevator that might provide access to the lower areas. Since I was in a one hour lot and didn't want to attract attention, I left the way I'd come and took a couple more photos of the exterior and headed home.
The saga continues...
