The Cherub House

We used to come here a lot a long time ago. We all called it the Cherub house because of the cherubs that were cast directly into the concrete during construction. It was abandoned then and had been gutted by fire. Since the entire place is made of concrete, the structure remained very solid. We all used to talk about buying it and living there but you know how that goes. Several years ago, the place was bought by an architect for $10,000. It still sat unused for many years and we'd go by occasionally.
It was somewhere in this time that I started to research the property and found out that, not only did it have a name but was considered to be a landmark of historical signifigance. It was built by a Chech family in 1914 on a hill so that they could watch the city develope across the river. I decided to check it out today and was surprised to see that it's been refurbished, lived in and is now back on the market. It can be yours (or mine) for the nominal fee of $350,000.
