My husband has been telling me about this house for years. He used to dirt bike in the field and his mother who is 57 used to play in this house. I have always wanted to see it but the walk was so long.I decided to go and ask the man beside the house at his farm if I coulkd take pictures.He was only too happy to tell me a little about it and take pictures!
He told me that in 2001 his son got married at the house in January, they put down floors and put in a heater and replaced the windows. These are gone now but it is evident that the owner will not let this house be torn down.There is NO grafitti and he said not many vandals have been in the house.
I was very greatful to the owner for the preservation and his hospitality.
I couldn't go right in the house because there are so many missing pieces of floor, BUT if you had a rope and good shoes you could go in.
It is a great house, well built and a little creepy but a great trip!
