About...
I was here a few years ago for some sort of event, reception for something. I got bored decided to check it out when not wearing dress clothes.

This used to be an assylum/nursing home/group home all rolled into one. Now it's a muesem. The inside has been "restored" into something much nicer than it ever was. I did take any pictures inside, i was skulking, trying to wander off into off limits areas, but I was the only one inside, and the employee to me ratio was 4:1. The onlimits section is just historical items and documents from the area. Some of its cool, but not really worthy of a gallery. Maybe I'll give that another try.
The exterior of the place leads me to believe there are a lot of off limits areas.

The area around the home is really the best part. Old construction

and oil drilling

equipment were on display, but the display its self is really abandoned. The signs are gone and much of the stuff isn't working (it was restored). There are sometimes blacksmithing demonstrations in a newly (last 5 years) constructed shed. The shed was locked and it looked like had not been any demos in months.

There were 2 holding ponds to the rear of the building.

And a cool torn apart bridge. I'm not sure when it was "removed", I think it was intact a few years ago.
