We had a day off in Hartford and I saw this building from the hotel. It's been vacant for a good while so there wasn't much in the way of artifacts but it was a pleasant diversion anyway. The external fire escape provided access to the roof but was really sketchy and the roof has a medow on it which is rotting the roof structure so I stayed mainly on the roof joists to keep from falling through. Nice elevator room and view. I have absolutely no idea of the building's name or history so anybody who knows feel free to elaborate.
