The imposing set of buildings had been with me all my life. I remember thier use and I remember the occasional escaped patient wandering down the road and there was one time I remember one who had cut himself with some broken glass. As a very young child, these things affect you.

It was with my realisation of this fine hobby that my eye turned toward the now empty buildings of this, the tormenter of my childhood dreams. Access was always a problem. Smashing windows just weren't my thing and security did regular patrols.

It would seem those old fears would come back to haunt me one stormy night. As I ventured into the grounds, the lights were on. It was like something out of a horror film and the soundtrack was the wind causing bangs and the trees whipping about in the wind and the rain.

However soon access was gained in a wonderfully inventive way and we were in. Inside, the building is pretty much fully striped of anything and due to power and heating being left on, there is very little signs of it being a derelict building.

We had to leave in a rather abrupt manner when we had contact with security.
