Why hello officer....

So Wags and I decided to make a weekend out of Ridgeview. He came into town Friday night and we headed out to get pics. It's a long story, but basically while getting (outside only) pics of some of the surrounding buildings a cop stopped us. No big deal, he just wondered what we were up to, gave us a little history on the plaza, and went on his way.

The next day we go fully intending to hit up McDonald's and part of the plaza, only to have the latter of our plans thwarted by construction crews being on site. We headed for McD's, walking around getting outside pics and noting entry points. We found a total of 4, 3 of which were useable.

As we were getting pictures and scoping out one of the entrances, I notice a cop car slowing and coming over to our area. I told Wags get out and look innocent, lol, but fortunately the cop's angle prevented him from seeing us IN the building.

He came over and asked what's up, and we told him exactly why were there: to get pictures. He was real nice, very talkative, and also very informative. He told us the blueprints for the McD's were in main shopping center building. Would have been awesome to find those. Anyhow, moral of the story is cops aren't always the enemy. He didn't yell at us, tell us to get lost, arrest us, or treat us like crap. He was informative, friendly, and his only warning words were that the air quality was questionable in the buildings.
