A Night At Magnolia

The tour crew had set up a party on the 2nd floor of the hotel we were staying in which happened to be the Magnolia. I don't drink so I wasn't much into a party but I WAS into using the party as a diversion for security while I tried to get up to the roof where I know the big red Pegasus lives. I made it up to the penthouse and it was vacant and open so I poked around in there for a while. Then I went upstairs to the roof, where others before me had pried the door open and disengaged the magnetic lock. I thought that was pretty nice of them. The only illumination on the roof was the huge neon horse so everything was eerily red. That roof has been on my to do list for a while and, although my house is only 5 miles away, I figured I'd stay at the hotel and hit the roof. I'm glad I did. It was really peaceful up there and I got some angles on the Kirby (Hi JGrant & Ninj!) and the Merc, which is my all time favorite building in Dallas.
