I have a few days off in Kiev and went looking for some place to explore and spotted two likely locations that shared a common courtyard. I still have the old stereotypical movie visions of Ukrainian cops chasing me with flashlights and whistles, tackling me and hauling me off to some unknown dungeon. Apparently if those days ever existed, they've long since past.
The first building is on a fairly busy street across from the Radison Hotel. I actually explored the other building first and when I was looking out one of the windows, I saw an entry point for this building so I figured "What the hell? May as well hit it too."
It's a nice little 6 story with a basement that has been abandoned and squatted in for a long time. I can't really tell the age of the building but it's been thoroughly scavenged and was pretty sweet at night.
Made it in and out without going to the Gulag!
