When I first got to Kiev, I started doing recon for likely explorations and this was one of the places that caught my eye. The entrance is at the bottom of a small hill just below an apartment block and the system itself is under a playground for apartment kids. I took a photo of the entrance with welded shut doors and stuck my camera into the door grate and took a flash shot to see if I could see anything of interest. It looked like a tunnel of some sort and that was good enough to warrant further exploration but I put it off while hitting easier targets for a few days. Today it started to rain and I love exploring on rainy nights so this was it. I made entrance unobserved and took a shot down the long corridor that seemed to dead end. I was pleasantly surprised that it didn't and made my way through the narrow maze like tunnels with new delights at every turn. The place was huge. The bunker, itself is multiple levels and many rooms that smell of old wood smoke. There have been several fires set and the wood floors, which were nice once, have large holes burned through them in a few places from previous visitors. The photos speak for themselves so I'll shut up now but it was a great trip and I highly recommend it if you're in the area. Hit me up for more info when you're in Kiev.
