Yo dats my turf, yo.. like yo yo! If you REALLY want to claim Scarborough as your turf, go ahead, it's a gorgeous, clean, expensive place.. (ehem.. yeah, except for the fact it's the ugliest, smelliest, poorest part of the GTA) and why would we want to take that way.

I hope we never run into each other, I'd hate to waste time with "I own this place" OUTSIDE of "Cyberland" cause that'd be straight down lame.

AS FOR SNEE YOU TACITURNABLE SHITHEAD; "At any rate, we took a bunch of really nice-looking Malt Plant photos the other day" YOU MEAN "IN OTHER NEWS.......we took a bunch of really nice-looking Malt Plant photos the other day"

yeah, NEWS, that's right, NEWS>... UPDATE THEFUCKING NEWS PAGE WITH NEWS, NOT YOUR FORUM-LIKE ***GUESTBOOK... jack ass.

I guess I speak for most people when I say I'm a bit confused as to how anyone can consider a pseudo-abandoned public transit platform officially owned and maintained by the TTC, access to which is a dangerous and illegal matter, to be their "turf". Weird. Toronto must be running out of space to claim. At any rate, just for the benefit of Sez, Swish and their ilk: UEC is an exploration group, not a gang. We're completely uninterested in turf wars and other products of testosteronal suburban teenage frustration. So, er, so there. :D

At any rate, we took a bunch of really nice-looking Malt Plant photos the other day, as well as finally gaining access to the Union Station steam tunnels, which were very cool. We'll be putting up all the new photos in a few days, when I finally get around to it. In the meantime, much as I normally try to avoid linking image directories directly, you can check out the new Malt Plant photos at http://uecanada.cjb.net/images/maltday/july2002/ . Some of the original 1024x768's of those make pretty nice desktop wallpapers so I'll upload and link them somewhere separately soon. :D

Don't know why there's turf wars, web sites like this just allow people to explore many other places, to share information. It isn't sites like this that 'bait' the places we like to play, it's idiots who vandalize, steal, and recklessly 'wander' into any place that they feel like. Some idiots may get their information from this site and other's like it, however I believe that most of us here have a respect for the tunnels and buildings we explore and don't want to do anything to bring attention to our adventures. Maybe you guys could offer to show some of the people here your 'turf' as a tour which you could organize on your terms, at the times you specify, and with you in charge. Just my opinion... we don't need enemies, we don't like people messing with our 'turf' either.

That aside, I looked at some old silos near Midland this afternoon, I'm going back again shortly to infiltrate, does anyone know anything about this place? Near Victoria Harbour off hwy, #12 west

in reply to sez & swish

ROFL!

Lower Bay is "Your" turf? Last time I checked, it is the property of the TTC (Toronto Transit Commision).

It's idiots like you that give Urban Exploration a bad name.

Hey guys, this afternoon four of us ventured into Buffalo. We did our second infiltration of the Buffalo Central Terminal. It was great during the day, last time it was dusk as we entered and the light faded quickly. I took about 80 pictures of the place (old fashioned film - digital camera forgotten in car)

We made our way into the tower, we explored for quite awhile, once we were on the seventh floor, I opened a door to a washroom (which I had already been in from a hole in the wall) and as soon as I opened the door the alarm went off. Well it took us over an hour to get to the seventh floor and only about a minute to get back to the ground.... four of us single file sprinting to escape... anyway we made it out safely and I will definetly return again!!!

Why did they set an alarm on a bathroom door???

I have pictures of the outside of derelict Hotel Champlain in Orillia on this page http://www.encode.com/mariposaman/supportnews.html

I might move them later but will keep them there for awhile. Also a link to some more I put on Imera.
