Oven Drying weed at 250 F

So, I was searching online for the best way to make a firecracker (peanut butter, cracker, weed) and I read about this guy claiming to bake his weed at 250 F to convert unused cannaboids into usable cannaboids. Basically you dry the marijuana in an oven for 10-15 minutes until it is extremely easy to crumble.

So, before writing this post I took 2 hits off my bubbler with some of this oven dried weed and I'm fuckin blazing my face off right now. So far I think it works...

Anyway, you guys should let me know what you think.

And here is the original thread I was reading, about 3-4 posts down the page.

I dunno, it doesn't make sense to me.
Not saying it doesn't work, just doesn't make sense.

There are about 65 different cannabinoids in marijuana.
Cannabinoids vaporize(become usable) at temps of ~600*F.
THC vaporizes at about ~360*F.

When you bring that flame from your lighter to your bubbler, you are introducing ~3500*F to the bud which releases all the cannabinoids and the THC.

So how would this help potency at all?

Huh. No idea if it helps or not. I was always told that once your bud is harvested and in a bag, heat and UV are enemies. But hey, if you're blazed, you're blazed.

I have changed my personal exploring ethics code. From now on it will be: "Take only aimed shots, leave only hobo corpses." Copper scrappers, meth heads and homeless beware. The Jonsered cometh among you, bringing fear and dread.

Yeah, I don't know, it definitely didn't go down in potency, try it out and let me know what you think. You can do it with small amounts or however much you're comfortable with.

I wouldn't do this on a regular basis, not really worth it I guess.

For best results. Do it when you're not
high at all. It works wonderfully. 250 for ten to twelve no more.

I do recommend it!

An ordinary yellow lighter flame is nowhere close to ~3500*F
