What are some movie scenes that disturbed you and were stuck in your head, maybe gave you nightmares?
For me the most disturbing scene was the botched execution in The Green Mile, where the guy fried and screamed for several minutes. Gah! Think I'm going to go find it on youtube now and watch it again.

I'd have to take some time to think about this, but one thing I've noticed is that low-budget movies seem more disturbing to me than big-budget Hollywood stuff. Anyone else think this way?

The scene in Saving Private Ryan where Mellish gets slowly stabbed in the chest by the almost-PoW Nazi. Just disturbing in that if you're getting stabbed in the chest and you can't believe it's really happening to you kinda thang.
