Wedard - Wo die Ewigkeit die Zeit berührt
Elysian Blaze - Beneath Silent Faces
Silencer - Death, Pierce Me

SILENCER! YES YES YES! Absolute masterpiece right there! Also, Nattramn's (Silencer) side project 'Diagnose: Lebensgefahr' is insane. He was approached by some label people while he was in rehab (Yeah he went absolutely out of his mind) and this project was formed. Amazing depressive drone music. (y)

I love Dimmu Borgir. Surprised no one has mentioned them yet.
In the end you will be laid to rest where you belong. Bathed in the flames for your hatred and your ignorance. Your the symbol of masculinity, but I can beat king kong.

yay!!!!!! i was like why hasn't anyone mentioned them yet!!
whoever mentioned black dahlia i'd kinda of think they can be considered black metal?
I was always told to distinguish the two, that black metal is songs more about death and depression with more higher pitched singing styles, shrieking, and lyrics against god, kind of like anarchist undertones
while death metal is violence in general like a slasher movie and the tempo seems quicker with more double bass and more guttural vocals.....what do you guys/gals think?
I guess I like the more guttural stuff which I associate with Death metal. like The Acacia Strain, and dying fetus, as blood runs black, job for a cowboy, and tony danza -----love their new album!!!
Lately I'm really into iwrestledabearonce and I kill the prom queen as well as august burns red, and gojira. and some japanese death metal like maximum the hormone
Lamb of God will always be a favorite of mine though and poison the well as well as from a second story window.
sooooo many to choose from!

No offense, but most of those bands don't fit into the genres of death or black metal. Dying Fetus and Gojira being the only DM, while the rest are deathcore/metal core.

thanks for the distinction . this is why I asked. always get different answers from different people about what music style bands are.
