| | | Posted by anatonic Absolutely nothing wrong with buying used, just make sure you inspect it carefully. Check for scratches on the sensor, check the dials for play, check the actuation count, ensure you're buying a usa model and not greymarket, also ask for the manufacture date because you still may be within the 2yr window. Have you looked into it's successor the D3200 though? Similar price (of a new 3100)
| Good idea. Hmm.. http://snapsort.co...200-vs-Nikon_D3100 Is it worth the extra 200 dollars tho? Do you think those specs would be worth the price gap? Or I've narrowed down both used and new cameras in both series. New: Nikon D3100 18-55mm Lens $446.95 http://www.amazon....-5-6/dp/B003ZYF3LO Used: Nikon D3100 18-55mm Lens $332.00http://www.amazon....TF8&condition=used New: Nikon D3200 18-55mm Lens $596.95 http://www.amazon....420&seller=&sr=8-1 Used: Nikon D3200 18-55mm Lens $495.00http://www.amazon....420&seller=&sr=8-1 So I could buy the new D3100 without breaking the bank, or the used 3200 and take a gamble. Interesting..
