Post by Tenebrae The photos, your write-up, and the sentiments evoked here are beautiful and touching. |
Thanks man, I'm glad you found it as interesting as I did. Its the stuff like this that I think adds a deeper dimension to the photo sets we normally get here. Just a peek into someone's life.
Post by Maglyte that swimming pool shot is really cool |
Thanks, it was definitely a nice house back in the day. That pool still has a few more shots I need to go back for.
Post by Amishdelight And no shots of the woodshop? |
Sadly no woodshop photos
I was running out of time. Most of the tools were gone anyway.
Post by Jecht I like the lighting in the picture of the attic and the remnants of the stained glass window. |
You know the lighting in the attic and all the different shades of wood caught my eye too. Glad I caught it for you. I think that I'm going to try doing a window like that at home now in my kids room. After looking at how it was done it seems very simple.
Post by Monkeybrainzzz Excellent shots dude! I love old homes, especially when there's so much left in the place. That backyard and pool area is sick! |
Old houses rock, good to see you pop back in again. Are you still active?
Post by Skye_Ann That staircase looks really cool.. And holy smokes!! That backyard is to die for! |
Thanks Skye, there was so much work put into building that staircase it was fun to see. In fact the whole house had so much woodwork like that it was hard to decide how to shoot it.
