Checked out the abandoned mental hospital this past weekend with a buddy of mine. Explored a few other areas before, but this was our first mental hospital. I'm in Baltimore for the next week so I figured I'd check out some of the places the city has to offer. This place is in Owings Mills, MD and has been closed since 2009 by the State of Maryland. There is security there, but it was relatively easy to get inside. We explored two buildings along with the tunnel system underground. Place is pretty creepy, but worth a look if you are in the area.

Nice! Looks like a pretty cool place. I've always wanted to explore a mental hospital, especially one with underground tunnels. There is a huge on in my area but it has tons of around the clock security patrols so I haven't been able to get in.

Putting the name of a non-demolished location is highly frowned upon and can lead to unwanted attention to the location by police and/or vandals. You might consider editing the names out.
PS: I did like the set though!
The Durango '95 purred away a real horrowshow - a nice, warm vibraty feeling all through your guttiwuts. And soon it was trees and dark, my brothers, with real country dark.

I edited the name, but in all honesty, I found this place from an internet search so the police already know about it. There is security there all the time for the most part, but it's pretty easy to get past if you have common sense. There are quite a lot of buildings we didn't explore, but to check everything out would take a whole day I'd think. I believe only one building was demo'd from an arson fire that happened a few years ago, which is why they have a third party security company in charge of monitoring the grounds.
It takes some skill to get into some of the buildings, but if you aren't afraid of heights and can climb you should be fine.

If that hospital is the one that closed in 2012 it's do able if you can avoid the security.

If this is the hospital I believe you are talking about, I went there for some photos one day, and not only did security tell me 'the state forbids photography here,' but I was watched by a 'hidden' cop car until my ride showed up at a nearby car lot I was waiting at.
