| True that! My opinion is the exact opposite of yours but respirators are an extremely personal piece of gear. One might have to try a whole bunch of them before finding the perfect one for them. I owned (too) many respirators: McCordick, 3M, MSA, North 5500 series (grey Stanley model), Sperian, and North 7700 series (black silicone). I find the North 7700 series by far the easiest to breathe in and M size is a great fit on my face. I guess one of the good things about not wanting to cross any borders with a respirator, is that I got to try a bunch of them and find which works best for me. Luckily, they're about half the price outside of Canada. ...too bad the filters aren't on sale
