Interesting story. I was really hoping it had been one of you guys that came across it, but it sounds like a cop noticed on a driveby. I'm sure if it turns out to be a homicide then this will become a pretty heavily watched property and likely not one to be visited in the near future.

So who's been here? Got some pics? Better yet...anyone been here recently?

Why would you want to find a dead person? It pisses me off when a perp makes me have decide if to call the cops especially if I'm exploring.
Could just be an OD. Cops are already patrolling there... and I doubt if now is the best time to post pics saying you were -just- there.

Just when I thought I was out... they pulled me back in.

I'm really into finding or hearing about anything interesting, and a dead body definitely qualifies as that!

Things like this always remind me of the kidnap chamber in the basement of that Stouffville home that burned down a couple years ago, and man-oh-man was that ever a crazy place to explore.

I suppose if you're paranoid there's something to be said about not admitting you were there recently , but I'd still like to see some pics!

Ai... That's really creepy. His daughter was found dead in her apartment 2 weeks ago and he's been missing ever since? Eesh...

Can't imagine what I'd do if I stumbled across a dead body while exploring. Although now I guess we know to park our cars down the road or behind the buildings since cops will come check them out.

Yikes! That's one of the things I'm most concerned about finding while exploring; that or a grow-op/meth lab! I would not want to have to get involved with anything like that. Not to mention explaining how it is you happened to make the discovery.

If all you're doing is trespassing, cops normally don't care about that when it's a felony crime you're reporting. Just tell them the truth.

I tagged a scrapper destroying a copper cupola years back. Really pissed me off because I was there to shoot it. He ruined my shoot, so I got his ass busted. End result, I got a free pass to shoot there anytime from the State Police and was given another site location to boot. Never had to testify.

Good to know, Blackhawk! Very cool that you busted him, the destruction of these places pisses me off big time. That's awesome that the police gave you a life time free pass there!
