Tbh I'm really new to Urbex, and I'm having trouble finding abandoned places. Can anyone tell me any places near Toronto that I can go to?

Generally it's not a good idea to post that sort of thing publicly - anyone can see this thread, including people who want to do something worse than just exploring.

On to your question: there are lots of abandoned places in Toronto! Come out to the next Toronto meet and you'll get to see some of them. Or hit me up via PM and I'll point you in the right direction.

There are a few - they're just well-hidden.

You aren't googling hard enough. When I first started out (Not very long ago, but that's besides the point) all I could do was google "Abandoned buildings Toronto" and go from there. Or, you know, go to a few meets then ask for Full Membership after meeting some mods.

It is against the forum rules to ask for locations.

That being said, it's understandable to want a bit of help when you're first starting out, and for that, UER and google are your friends. Read through some of the threads here, spend some time browsing google maps and searching online. Also, keep your eyes out on a daily basis and I'm sure you'll not only find some classic spots, but some new unexplored ones too. Good luck!

FYI it is not against the rules to ask for locations, but it is against the rules to reveal entry details.

Sharing locations is what UER is all about.

Google is your friend, but so are your eyes!

Just go out for a walk (it's good for you!) and maybe you'll see a cool place you want to explore. Just use your head -- if somewhere looks too dangerous or too guarded, don't do it.

Easy peasy.

I second this. A huge part of the concept of "exploration" for me is going out and finding my own places. All of the famous and "traditional" places are great and all, but if all you do is follow directions from the internet it removes one of the best parts of exploring!
