| | | Started testing out some of my polaroid cameras I've amassed recently. I was hesitant to buy any impossible film due to the price, but I'm pretty dang happy with how my shots have been turning out. Totally makes the price worth it. | | | Posted by jonrev I'm glad this thread is finally picking-up! Great tones on #3!
Tip to get rid of the newton rings on this one: keep a few empty packs handy and when you scan, just slide the image back into a pack, image-side up. It keeps the image off the glass enough to avoid newton rings, while keeping it flat and not affecting sharpness. You lose the Polaroid frame; but you crop, anyway. Rings weren't a problem with Polaroid stock, but for whatever reason: are for Impossible (they were even selling an overpriced scan adapter for a while... my method's free).
| Thanks for the tip, I'll rescan it when I finish off this pack I'm going through. I cleaned up the dust from the B&W's, they look much better. I left in most of the other imperfections that are on the polaroids though, the scratches and such. Untitled by Alex, on Flickr Untitled by Alex, on Flickr Untitled by Alex, on Flickr
